Job Description: 

• Hands on development of the design and build of Enterprise Reporting Models using Microsoft Power BI & Analysis services
• Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop
• Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs. Document requirements define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.
• Coordinate with business subject matter experts to bridge the gap between Business users and technical team
• Quickly demonstrate understanding of business use cases and implications of various data structures and visualization options
• Recognize opportunities to drive advanced analytics solutions that deliver value to key organizational partners.
• Monitor Performance of Power BI Models and tune for optimal processing in Power BI and Power BI service.
• Able to integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation
• Standardize all integration processes and build best practice in Power Platform area (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate)
• Provide recommendations on performance tuning dimension and fact tables for best practice and to align with organizational needs
• Establish error control procedures and alerts to ensure end to end processes meet customer SLAs
• Ensure data quality between source and target systems
• Coordinate activities simultaneously for multiple projects.

Skills and Experience :

• 7+ years’ experience in Data warehousing, Business Intelligence Architecture, Reporting and Analytics space
• 4+ years’ hands-on development experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence stack SSAS - Tabular and Multidimensional Model, Power BI Model, Power BI DAX, Power BI Model and Report Performance and Power BI Administration
• 3+ years’ extensive experience in data visualizations and analysis using Power BI as an enterprise reporting tool
• 3+ years’ experience in M language and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), SQL
• Practical understanding of the Data modeling (Dimensional & Relational) concepts like Star-Schema Modeling, Snowflake Schema Modeling, Fact and Dimension tables.
• Good understanding of relationships/cardinalities, normalization/ de-normalization techniques
• Experience modeling and tuning large data sets for maximum efficiency
• Experience in PowerApps and Power Automate
• Experience in Power BI Report Builder is a Plus
• Experience with SAP S4HANA is a Plus
• Experience with Microsoft Azure platform is a Plus
• Experience in Python & R is a Plus
• Experience working in a customer service orientated environment.
• Ability to analyze different tools and technologies to determine best method for the design
• Ability to work across diversified business and IT teams
• Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting skills required
• Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
