Job Description: 

• Post payments
• Using multiple payment posting methods.
• Work EOBs to ensure claims paid properly
• Process adjustments and works with billing team to re-file claims as needed
• Understanding of basic Medicare rules and regulations.
• Works at the established Productivity level
• Maintain confidentiality and knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Builds relationships with billing team and clients regarding their billing needs and assist with claim resolutions as needed
• Send a daily payment report to billing team to ensure timely communication regarding outstanding AR
• Ability to work independently
• Must be organized and able to multitask and great attention to details.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to type, operate computers and office equipment
• Aptitude for learning computer systems
• Ability to perform basic bookkeeping and compile statistics as needed
• Open to dynamic change and ability to thrive in such an environment
• Initiative to take on new tasks as necessary
• Prior experience working with the rules regulations, and billing codes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurance (preferred)
• Education equivalent to a High school diploma, college degree preferred
